Color to Dye for

You may spend hours coordinating your ensembles, from your earrings to your blouse to your toenail polish. Having a killer outfit not in the right hue or shade of color will break the stylish look.

Consider this:
Is your hair color matching your skin tone? It’s essential, the right shade to Dye for will flatter and give a radiant glow to your skin tone. The wrong hue can make your complexion look washed out, sallow, drab, or muddy. The right shade will enhance your skin tone and coloring, you can rejuvenate your complexion, brighten up your best features from head to toe while radiating a glowing youthful complexion. This is key for a consistent powerful image and you wear it every day. It is the most cost effective way to enhance your appearance on a daily basis.

Use a color uncomplimentary to your eye, hair and skin tone, and people ask if you’re feeling okay or tired.

If gold compliments your skin then you would be best suited in warmer shades of color.

Bold or subdued colors in the right shade to accent your face will permeate confidence and pose.

A professional color expert will be the best investment to achieve optimum results.

Stategies to Style & Success

Strategies to Style and Success
What is personal brand image? It’s you! Your representation of yourself is the total package, including how you dress, groom and communicate. Image speaks to the world before you even say a word. Also, pictures can make or break your image. Your image represents who you are and where you are going. Change your image and change your life!
As, Nelson Mandela once said, “Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.” Everything in life starts with you. Developing your personal brand image that people will respect and admire leads to building positive relationships full of opportunities and success.
The first step in developing your personal brand image starts with identifying what you are trying to attract and what obstacles lie in your path for success. Could it be your appearance, your inner self-talk, or both? Developing your personal brand image is indeed a self-discovery and improvement process. Whether you need to overcome career, personal, or communication challenges, the solution lies within you and your internal dialogue.
Successful people set goals with time lines to achieve them. Perfect example is Jack Canfield the author of “The Success Principles”. Successful people visualize themselves achieving their goals. Achievement comes from a plan of action designed from desired goals. Life gives us exactly what we expect. It’s a balance between persistence and flexibility towards our goals, so it’s necessary for us to make clear choices and decisions. Doubt leads straight into failure. If you’ve been procrastinating from doing something, do it right away. There is no better time than the present; that’s the power you hold! Focusing on the negative can distort your judgment and paralyze your actions. Focus on goals for success! Good energy and attitude comes from a healthy and positive self-image. The better your self-image, the possibilities are endless for achieving your goals. Trust your intuition. Positive thoughts lead to abundance, which leads to success. Remember to focus on what matters most to you!

Proactive successful business professionals today view themselves as if they are a corporation and market their talents accordingly. Just as a solid, viable product will die a slow death without consistent marketing, talented contributors can be ignored, overlooked, or never fully utilized without effective self-promotion.
At work, you are your brand and your look is your logo – it will send a clear message about who you are, what you have to offer, and where you are going with your career. Decide what your message is by working with an image consultant to help you identify and clarify your intent. And, then dress to express it. Decide to put effort into choosing a wardrobe that reflects who you are and where you are going. Take control of every aspect in your life inside and out to achieve success.
You’ve often heard people refer to themselves as the total package. However, are they really the total package? When you work with DARe Salon & Image Studio, we take the guesswork out of packaging your presentation. The process first begins with a self-exploration of who you are and where you want to be. You can look the part but if you don’t act the part, you’re not the total package. And conversely, if you act the part and don’t look the part, doors will close before you. Start opening new doors today.

Colors and Confidence

Colors we surround ourselves with play an intricate part in our confidence, which precludes our happiness.  Whether choosing hair color or garment colors, skin tone and personality are the two major considerations before any choices are selected.

The theory of color is based on individual skin tone.  Warm toned or cool toned, with the rare individual being both like a chameleon.  A simple way to test which one you are is to hold a piece of gold cloth then a silver piece. With one your skin will radiate.  The other will make you look sallow.  Gold is warm; silver is cool.  An alternative is to try an orange-red and blue-red fabric. Neutrals in clothing (black, gray, brown and taupe) work for everyone.

Once you have discovered your tone, look at the color wheel. Cool colors are in the blue, green, and purple hues.  Warm colors are in the yellow, orange and red hues.  Typically these families fall in the opposing family if the underlying base is from that color family. An example would be a red-blue tone like magenta.

You’ll feel much more confident in colors that compliment your skin tone.  Personality is key in your color choices.  If a vivacious outgoing warm skin toned individual wears a subdued color — for example a flat brown hair color or a muted powdery pink blouse — this will be a confidence killer.  But, a flattering sun kissed, golden brown hair color with a hot pink garment will radiate confidence.  Eva Longoria Parker is a great example.
