Initiative has made it possible for me to have studied under the most recognized names in the field of image consulting – Dominique Isbecque and Carol Davidson.  I have also learned from the most prestigious names in cosmetology in the United States and Europe – Krista Embry, Sharon Gault, Vidal Sassoon, Tony & Guy, Trevor Sorbie, Wella, Graham Webb, and Sebastian.  Believing that there’s always something new to discover, I continually update my extensive knowledge of styles and trends with courses, seminars, and trade shows.  I have also been honored to receive Tiffany 2003 Creative Hair Awards.

Having the wonderful opportunity of working on syndicated shows, commercials, cable spots, and with national music artists has helped me grow. I had the privilege of working with Robert Labetta from Sebastian on a collaborative photo shoot.  My training enabled me to be Master of Ceremonies for several fashion shows.  My scope of experience has transformed ordinary into extraordinary.

I am very active in my community and use my expertise for charity functions such as:  Dreams 2003 benefiting St. Vincent, Sarah Fisher Center, and Variety by coordinating music, costumes, hair and makeup for London Hair Company’s participation and Meals on Wheels Benefit Fashion Show as Artistic Designer. The community support extends to serving on the process committee for Auburn Hills, supporting the Haven House, Boys and Girls Club, and the Avondale Schools with service donations and involvement.   Beaumont Breast care center is just one of the many charities that I have raised monies for. Currently I am sitting on the advisory board for the Oakland County Cosmetology Board. A portion of my time is spent partnering with neighboring businesses to develop a strong tie of unity for the Downtown Auburn Hills area.  Recently I co-founded the Detroit Underground Creative blog site soon to be launched.

Gladly I share my knowledge by seizing opportunities to train and encourage others in wardrobe, hair, and makeup as an instructor and on several cable shows giving advice and tips.  I am the owner of DARe Salon and Image Studio in Auburn Hills, Michigan,  and a National Cosmetology Association Member.
